tHeKOPrAntS@8:09 AM What would you do when you eat something bitter, and the aftertaste doesn't go away? There are some wounds that time alone cannot heal. They call for a conscious, deliberate attempt to mend it. The self is the needle, the other is the thread. Then there is the risk that the thread falls off and you'll need to start from scratch. But then, doubt gets you nowhere. The soul afraid of dying never learns to live.Found last week's sermon inspiring. Fr. Erbin stated that there's nothing wrong with possessing things but becoming a thing oneself. I thought of an instance in which one can become a thing, unconsciously and even unwillingly-this is when we always want to become that perfect “person” that you think some people want you to become. You don't do things which you feel is right, rather, what would make you ideal in the eyes of others. This is not to say that both actions will necessarily be in direct conflict. However, there are times they will clash and which one will we allow to dictate our actions.? Just feel that I have to listen to my heart and choose to be me when its time to make this choice.
