Its 1.30am at the moment and the typical zombified JC2 student is still busy at work. These 2 weeks are one hell of a ride. Hectic is an understatement. We’re not even getting enough rest. Well, I shall not list out our torture, trials and tribulations of these 2 crazy weeks otherwise I might attract too much attention from human rights groups.

But just here to write out my thoughts. Don’t know why but I felt that I had to blog now.

Firstly, Happy Mother’s Day! Actually I think Mother’s day is a kind of a yearly reminder that I should treat the other 364 days as Mother’s day too. Aiks…we all forget sometimes but let’s try =)

Went to Eunice’s concert just now at YJC. Ah, I was alone and got a bit messed up with the directions but she called me just at the right time!

YJ had some arts fusion stuff and tonight was guitar ensemble and CO and I must say I really enjoyed the music (rhythm of the rain got stuck in my head!). Yen was in guitar.. she admitted she was a little nervous but I think she did well. Yay. The short play was quite hilarious as well though weird cos they were a bit excessive with smokey gas crap.

Hope she had a great time tonight, after practicing for so hard. Haha, she pointed out after the concert that she did invite her family and relatives and whoa they occupied two whole rows! Hmm, and I think what made the concert special was the theme “Amor Infinitus” or infinite love. And thus songs like “True” and “Marriage de Amor”. Yet the part which moved me most was the slide show on “what is love” and certain quotes that struck me included (apologies, but I cant remember the ppl who said them. Haha. Tries to think but all I see at the moment is chem and econs):

“Love does not make the world go round but makes the ride worthwhile.”

“The times in life when one would feel most alive are the times one did things out of love.”

“You do not love a woman because she is beautiful but she is beautiful because you love her.”

It’s not that cheem to understand right?

Okayy, I must be catching up on my sleep liao. Tired tired =X
